The place

Ananda Kalyani

A spiritually rooted, nature-centred eco-village and retreat project in central Portugal, nestled in the scenic landscapes near the Serra da Estrela Natural Reserve. It integrates spiritual life, regenerative living, community development and connection to the land into a living, evolving environment that welcomes all who arrive with an open heart.

The land comprises pastoral valleys, private river access, woodland, orchards and natural gardens.

Who holds the space

Catarina

Catarina

the moon — the mind, the thinker of Bhavika

Yoga teacher and DJ since 2021, she has a passion for conscious movement and its direct relationship with releasing and healing.

Catarina did her Hatha Yoga course in India, Purna Yoga in Australia, Yoga for Pregnancy and Kids in Portugal and Womb Wisdom for Women in Morocco.

Down to earth with an extreme will of providing a better place for everyone, she thinks that one can make a difference. “Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something” would be her motto in life. Catarina is our calm force.

Susana

Susana

the sun — a ball of fire and joy

Susana also completed her Hatha Yoga course in India and her Ayurvedic Massage Therapy training in Portugal. She has also trained in Healing Voice with Escuela Iniciática Thainá, as well as in Feminine Wisdom & Sacred Sexuality.

With a long background in hospitality and people development, Susana’s path has always been rooted in human experience.

As a yoga teacher and therapist, her work explores movement, breath, touch, and the relationship we build with our bodies.

With a heart of gold, she thinks that it is in our darkest moments that we may find brilliant light within ourselves.
